Learning from Other People’s Mistakes

Did you ever have a dream where you were running up a really steep hill or mountain?  You know the one; where you’re straining with each step, leaning forward … maybe even clawing your way on all fours in a primal fashion …  Yeah.  Those dreams suck.  Mostly because they’re a reflection of how hard you’re struggling in the waking world to make forward progress.

Stop.  Take a deep breath, then look around.  Specifically, look at the people who are successful (in whatever form that takes for you).  Talk to them.  Find out how they achieved their success, what mistakes they made, and what they learned.

Next, apply that information to your life so you can work smarter, not harder.
